What you can expect from this blog

This blog will seek your views on how we shape Wales’ future through our national wellbeing products in Welsh Government. The key to shaping Wales’ future is how we measure Wales’ progress through our National Well-being Indicators, shape the future direction through the setting of National Milestones, and understand what might shape Wales’ future through a Future Trends Report for Wales. Taken together they will play an important supporting role in providing direction for Wales in the future as we move towards reconstruction and recovery.

We hope this blog will encourage you to engage with us on these areas of work. Our aim is to build the knowledge and awareness of the work we’re undertaking within Welsh Government, as well as improve understanding of how these work streams fit together under the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act. 

Contributors to the blog

Blog posts will be written by various people within Welsh Government involved in the integration of the Well-being of Future generations Act across a range of different policy areas.

On occasion we will feature Guest Blogs where we invite people from outside of Welsh Government to write posts for us.
